20 +, 16.1+h, chest warmblood type gelding. This gelding must have been something else in his day because his is aged and still as awesome as they come! He has a great English foundation - has a soft mouth and gives nicely to leg pressure. He was a little resistant to backing and when I asked for side passes he was not as willing however I few reminder schooling sessions and he would have those movements back! He was also a bit heard bound to his buddy Bill and wanted to stop and say hi when down at that side of the arena which was not allowed. Each time passing Bill the warmblood gelding got less heard bound and soon it was not an issue. He wanted to swap leads or not stay in the canter so there is most likely a soreness in his hind end but a less demanding career or suppliments could/would do the trick. His feet are a terrible mess and he has some old wire scaring but it looks old and not an issue. I have not ridden now for over 9 months but I had to sit on him becasue he looked like such a gem - I am by no means a trainer and for me to feel confident enough to hop on in safari pants, and sun hat flopping around and walk, trot and canter in very dangerous footing says a TON about the feeling I got from this horse. For those of you more concerned about a solid mind and does not mind addressing some senior care he is the REAL deal - at least in my humble opinion! The horses listed on the Feedlot page are located near Zillah Washington, Yakima County. Assessments are offered as a courtesy only. Pre-purchase Vet Checks/Professional assessments can be arranged at the interested buyer's expense. There is no mandatory quarantine upon purchase, though it is highly recommended once the animal leaves the Feedlot.Buyer be aware horse/s is/are sold as is. All sale are final. No refunds.
